This has been the most influential book I have read throughout my life. Ayn Rand glorifies man, and his quest for happiness on earth. I now, having read enough of her literature, consider myself a firm objectivist, rooted in logic, freedom, and my own ego.

Perhaps the most life-changing book I have ever read, and simply the best I've read (outside the Bible & Baha'i writings). Several people I come across have taken her views out of context. This book is about productivity, human achievement, and heroism.

The book is FANTASTIC and the audio cassettes are just as wondeful. I had the opportunity to listen to them and it really brought this wonderful classic to life for me. A must read for anyone!!!!

It would be hard to understate the importance of this book. It consistently ranks at the top of every poll about important books, including the Library of Congress and Modern Library.
More than about a woman's struggle amidst a crumbling socialist state, it's a presentation of the concepts of reality, reason, living by principle, and freedom.

After years of frustration with dealing with those who coudn't think or wouldn't think, I was glad to read Atlas Shrugged. It helped me to put into perspective some of the things I saw but couldn't believe.

I am floored my the precision by which Rand collapses fears and obstructions regarding an efficiently lived life. It is an achievement to read a book written with the same values at heart as those of which the author espouses.

This book truly changed the way I view the world. Atlas Shrugged reveals how the media constanly spouts altruistic ideals that if were carried out to their full and final perfection would stop all progress and advancement in any field.
